In the world of the digital era, it is no secret that the art of tattooing has been an essential part of the art culture for the last 25 years and if you want to do further research tattooing is a part of cultural and religious practices since the beginning of time.
Often artists of color are overlooked in the industry that contributions have been so relevant. When I started Subject Thread Podcast in August of 2020, it was a product from a labor of love my intent was to highlight people of all races, all walks of life, that shape industries of entrepreneurial journeys in art, culture, cannabis, technology, investing and more. Showcasing special biannual digital issues of the podcast is an extension of my contribution to the business and the creative world.
In this first issue, I’ve decided to feature 5 tattoo cultivators who have been interviewed on the podcast. Miya Bailey, Dark Skin Body Art, Kevin Laroy, Kandace Layne, and Oba Jackson whose interview will be dropping soon.
